What informs a recommendation is public and checkable: spec sheets, official documentation, published standards, and aggregated owner experience. If a piece of writing rests on personal use, it says so; silence on that point means it does not.
What we cannot promise
Nothing on a retailer’s page is under our control, least of all price and stock. Any figure in an article was accurate when written and should be checked against the shop before you act on it.
Why we must say this
United States rules require this page. Under the Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guides, a material connection between a publisher and a recommended product has to be disclosed clearly and near the recommendation itself, which is what we do.
Why a product appears here
Commission rates play no part in what we suggest. A sauces and condiments recommendation stands on what the thing does when used as described, and advertisers get no preview and no veto.
Ad slots
The other source of income is display advertising via Google AdSense. An ad appearing next to an article means nothing about the article.
